TOPIC:
Dave Kuwhara will show us how to use iridescent acrylic ink over walnut ink to create letters that show off an aged, metallic sheen over a deep background of brown.

SUPPLIES:

Walnut Ink

Iridescent Acrylic Ink (such as Dr. Martin's-the jade color works well)

Wide, edged nibs, 4mm (Speedball 0 size) or larger - Automatic pens, Horizon pens, etc.

Folded or Ruling pens, pop can pens

Eye dropper

Hot pressed watercolor paper

paper towels

If you have any of the items listed above, please bring them to the meeting. If you don't , bring what you can and we will have material to share. Please don't go out and purchase anything if you don't have it. Dave will have extra bottles of acrylic ink to share, and if anyone wants some walnut ink, bring a 1 oz. container and show up a little early for the meeting.
